Washington State Electeds Send Letter to Congressional Delegation Urging Them to Take Swift Action to Pass Immigration Relief

We are entering a new chapter in our democracy and a critical opportunity to stand up for immigrant communities everywhere. Today, the Senate is holding a hearing on essential workers, highlighting the importance and need for immigration reform now. On the heels of this, and in collaboration with OneAmerica, 38 Washington State Electeds sent a letter to the 113th Congressional Delegation requesting their “urgent attention to passing immigration relief as quickly as possible.” The time is now for Congress to act and create a roadmap to citizenship for immigrants in the United States.
