Build Immigrant Power with OneAmerica
How We Work
Flexible Workspace
We understand that everyone’s life follows different patterns. We are a hybrid office, working in-office twice weekly. We provide flexibility if you need to work specific hours or have other workplace needs.
Bringing Your Full Self
We understand that one’s personal life directly impacts their professional life and vice versa. We have a deep commitment to ensuring our staff feel comfortable being their truest selves at OneAmerica.
Evaluation is Key
We believe that anything worth doing is worth evaluating. We foster an environment where staff have the ability to try new things and be creative while also taking the time to evaluate the work to inform how we build for the future.
What We Offer
Paid Time Off
We offer 5+ weeks of paid time off for full-time employees, up to 20 weeks of family and medical leave, two weeks of paid leave at the end of the year, fifteen paid holidays, and a three month sabbatical every five years.
Family & Wellness
Wellness is a top priority for us. We offer comprehensive health insurance coverage; vision, dental, life insurance; short- and long-term disability.
Salary Equity
We commit to ensuring our staff are paid competitive and just salaries. We have a transparent compensation philosophy and offer COLA and annual merit-based raises.
Other benefits include cell phone and transportation stipends, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), 403(b) retirement plans and relocation packages.
What We Value
Relationships
We wouldn’t be able to build the power we need without strong relationships with one another. We seek to understand our stake and the stakes of others to create the world we envision. This is what makes community organizing at OneAmerica relational and transformative.
Collaboration
When we come together, we win. We value collaboration across our teams because everyone holds valuable ideas and expertise. We rely on one another to move our work, hold one another accountable, and invite others into our team’s work.
Personal and Professional Development
Growth is important to us. We work with staff to understand what their professional and personal development goals are and create a plan where we can help foster that growth.

Current Openings
Chief of Staff
OneAmerica is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a senior strategic partner to the Executive Director and a key member of the organization’s leadership team. This is a substantial, multifaceted role for an experienced leader who wants to plant roots in an organization doing serious, sustained movement work—someone energized both by the urgency of this moment and by the long-term project of building immigrant power in Washington State and beyond.
Development Director
Volunteer and Field Coordinator
OneAmerica is seeking an outgoing and driven individual to join our team as a Volunteer and Field Coordinator. This person will be responsible for training and launching allies and community members into the field to participate in our deep listening canvass and phone bank program. In 2025, OneAmerica launched the program across King, Yakima, and Clark Counties. With this launch, we found that immigrants and the broader multiracial working class are hungry to build power within their own communities. The person in this role will have the opportunity to build on and scale the work as we continue to grow our program in 2026.
